We are looking for an AI Lab Lead to join our team of exceptional engineers in Campinas/Curitiba/Porto Alegre/Recife and help drive innovation at the forefront of AI.

The Role

Manage technical leads overseeing multiple projects.
Write high-quality code for web and mobile applications used by millions.
Collaborate in an agile environment using best practices like CI/CD.
Scale a high-performing team of AI engineers.
Mentor engineers to foster growth and development.
Act as a guardian of Plank’s culture, fostering it within the team.

Your experience

8+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years as a technical lead or engineering manager.
Strong experience in TypeScript, React, and Node for web and mobile applications.
Prior experience in AI (LLMs, Rag, MCP, and other frameworks) is a plus, but not required.
A solid technical foundation to guide architectural and technical decisions.
Ability to thrive in autonomous and high-accountability environments.
Clear and persuasive communication and decision-making skills.
Cross-functional perspective across technology, product, and business.
Passion for mentoring junior engineers.
Good communication and writing skills in English.
Deep enthusiasm for Computer Science.
